So here is the challenge. We have a client who is a well known artist. She’s done exquisite portrait work for her entire career and needs a way to market these services. Easy, right? We’ll here’s the catch. She also enjoys working philanthropically, and would really like a process that could allow her the freedom to paint or simply coordinate a project using her incredible network of fellow artists. Hmmm. A bit more challenging.
Into our Road Map process and out comes the idea for an entirely new company called UpstART Fundraising. UpstART Fundraising uses commissioned artwork to raise money for organizations by selling the prints. Mixed with a bit of Leadstra magic, we can provide a marketing campaign that allows us to pre-sell the work and ensure that the charity does not loose money on the deal. Our turnkey process also allows us to manage all fund collection and distribution, artist coordination, and the logistics of shipping prints to donors. In the end, we’ve moved way beyond portrait painting. But our client loves her role as artist coordinator and now has a great process for generating that extra income while staying engaged in the arts community.
